Selected high-quality boards

Paragain Selection E1 multi-layer solid wood core plywood (five layers)Writer's furniture panels,We also provide low-formaldehyde or even zero-formaldehyde E0/E1 multi-layer solid wood ecological boards.18mmfine corePlywood is one of the main panels used by our company.

Furniture board types

Large core board.jpg

The core of the large core board is made of spliced wooden strips.

advantage:

Good grip on screws and not easy to deform;

Light weight, excellent sound absorption and heat insulation;

Can be glued to other fabrics.

shortcoming:

Formaldehyde emissions are generally high;

There is a chance of causing warping and deformation;

The longitudinal bending strength is slightly lower, and long-term stress will cause obvious lateral deformation of the plate;

The surface is rough, making painting difficult and ineffective.

Plywood (large core board)

Thin core boards are laminated with multi-layers of thin wooden boards.

advantage:

Moderately priced;

Easy to paint and apply finishes;

It is easy for moulding and shapes, and can be used to carve patterns and create isolated edge effects;

shortcoming:

Poor in moisture resistance, it will swell and deform when exposed to water;

It falls and deforms after bearing the weight for a long time;

Poor grip on screws;

The weight is higher than other artificial boards.

夾板 (細芯板)

Medium density fiberboard (MDF). MDF is generally made of wood or plant fibers that have been mechanically separated and chemically treated, and then added with adhesive and subjected to high temperature and high pressure. The surface is very smooth.

advantage:

1. The surface of the fiberboard is smooth and can be directly used for post-processing such as oil spraying, wood veneer, and wood grain paper.
2. The degree of thermal expansion and contraction is small, and the moisture-proof effect increases as the density increases.

shortcoming:

Poor moisture resistance, it will swell and deform when exposed to water;

It will fall and deform after bearing the weight for a long time;

Poor grip on screws;

The weight is higher than other artificial boards.

Fibreboard

Low-density fiberboard is made from wood chips as the main raw material, plus adhesives and additives, and then subjected to high temperature and high pressure.

advantage:

cheap price;

Good sound absorption, sound insulation and heat resistance;

The surface is smooth and the weight is uniform, making it ideal for various veneers;

Lighter in weight than other fiberboards.

shortcoming:

Milling is difficult and not suitable for on-site production;

Low strength, poor load-bearing capacity, and relatively low durability;

Poor moisture resistance;

Poor grip on screws.

Formaldehyde Myth

E1 level is the mandatory "safety standard line". The formaldehyde content of E1 level (less than 0.9mg/L) is a safe value.

E0/E1/E2 is the international safety standard revised by ICBES for formaldehyde (the new standard has canceled E2).

"E0" or "E1" are not designated board materials, but formaldehyde emission levels. No matter plywood, large core board, particleboard or even laminate flooring and fiber flooring, they can all have "E0" or "E1" level certification.

In addition to the furniture panels themselves, the glue, adhesives, paint or lacquer decorative surfaces or other materials used during the construction process may also contain a certain amount of formaldehyde, which will increase the overall formaldehyde release in the unit.
